The Windows warning on first run

Because the package is not yet signed with a code signing certificate, Windows shows the "Windows protected your PC" warning the first time you run it.

The warning does not say the file is harmful; it says a publisher certificate has not been obtained yet. To continue, click More info and then Run anyway.

If you want to be certain, compare the SHA-256 digest above before you start the installation.

Installation and your data

The browser installs into your user account and does not ask for administrator rights. You can change the installation directory.
Your settings, history, bookmarks and site permissions are kept under %APPDATA%\Girginos Browser\.
Uninstalling does not delete that data; if you want a clean slate, remove the folder yourself.

Updates

The installed version checks for updates itself, verifies the signature and only starts the installation once you approve it. You do not need to come back to this page for a new version.

Other platforms

There are no macOS or Linux packages yet. We are not giving a date, because we do not have one.
